Maverick Mura ist ein in den USA geborener Maler aus Los Angeles, der derzeit in Cádiz, Spanien, lebt und studiert. Maverick wuchs in der Punkszene auf und malt seit seinem 17 Lebensjahr. Er ist Teil des Kunstkollektivs STOMA und wird 2023 nach New York ziehen, um dort mit STOMA kollektiv zu leben und ohne Autorenschaft künstlerisch zu arbeiten. Maverick Mura is a American-born painter from Los Angeles, currently living and studying in Cádiz, Spain. Maverick grew up in the punk scene and has been painting since the age of 17. Maverick is a member of the arts collective called STOMA, and is going to move to New York in 2023 to live collectively with STOMA and create without authorship. Maverick Mura’s work addresses personal and collective memory through portraiture and humor.
