Letra Power ist ein künstlerisches Projekt, mit dem Ziel, die Geschichte und das Siebdruckverfahren der peruanischen Chicha-Plakate bekannt zu machen. Letra Power wurde 2014 von Angel UC geschaffen, dem jüngsten Sohn einer Familie, die sich seit den 1980er Jahren der Herstellung von volkstümlichen Plakaten widmet und dabei die für Huanca-Textilien typischen Farbschattierungen verwendet. Angel UC erwarb sein Wissen über Chicha-Plakate direkt in der Werkstatt seines Vaters, als Teil der Familientradition.

Letra Power is an artistic project that seeks to disseminate the history and the silkscreen printing process of the Peruvian Chicha posters. Letra Power was founded by Angel UC in 2014. He is the youngest son of a family dedicated to popular posters since the 80s, applying the shades of colours typical of Huanca textiles. Angel UC acquired his knowledge of the chicha poster directly in his father’s workshop, as part of the family tradition.

Letra Power es un proyecto artístico que busca difundir la historia y el proceso de serigrafía del Cartel Chicha peruano, creado por Angel UC en el 2014, quien es el menor hijo de una familia dedicada a la cartelería popular desde los años 80s, aplicando los matices de colores propios de la textilería huanca.
Angel UC, adquirió sus conocimiento sobre el cartel chicha de forma empírica en el taller de su padre, como parte de la tradición familiar.
