aramolara, Araí Moleri ist eine in Berlin lebende Fotografin aus Uruguay. Für ihre persönlichen Projekte hat sie in den letzten 14 Jahren mit dem Schwerpunkt Porträts, Dokumentationen und Architektur gearbeitet. Die Themen ihrer fotografischen Projekte in den letzten 5 Jahren konzentrierten sich auf die Dokumentation von Migrantinnen und deren Praktiken in Bezug auf Kunst und Spiritualität sowie auf die Architektur als materiellen und physischen Kontext, der die Realität einer Zeit und eines Ortes widerspiegelt, die sich mit den sozialen Ereignissen verändern.
Seit 2015 arbeitet Araí mit dem Street-Art-Kollektiv „Colectivo Licuado“ zusammen, für das sie die Fotografien für viele ihrer Wandbilder weltweit anfertigte (www.colectivolicuado.com). 2017 arbeitete sie für das Projekt und den Dokumentarfilm „As Mil Mulheres“ in Rio de Janeiro und fotografierte Frauen in prekären Situationen. Die Fotografien dienten als Referenz für die Wandbilder, die der Wandmaler „Fitz“ später in Rio malte.
2018 zog Araí nach Berlin, wo sie ihre Arbeit als Fotografin und Retoucherin fortsetzt und ihre eigenen Werke produziert, aber auch für das Magazin Exberliner, den zeitgenössischen Künstler Tomás Saraceno und andere arbeitet. Derzeit entwickelt sie zusammen mit der Schriftstellerin Lucía Cash ein Fotobuch.

aramolara, Araí Moleri is a Uruguayan photographer and retoucher based in Berlin. For he personal projects in the last 14 years, she has been working on portraits, documental and architecture.
The themes of her photographic projects in the last 5 years have focused on the documentation of migrant women, and their practices related to art and spirituality as well as architecture as a material and physical context, which reflects a reality of a time and a place that is transformed accompanying the social events.
Since 2015, Araí collaborated with the street art collective “Colectivo Licuado”, making the previous photographs for many of their murals worldwide (www.colectivolicuado.com). In 2017 she worked for the project and documentary „As Mil Mulheres“ in Rio de Janeiro, taking photographs of women in situations of vulnerability. The photographs were used as reference for the murals that later the mural artist „Fitz“ painted in Rio.
In 2018 Araí moved to Berlin, where she has continued working as a photographer and retoucher, producing her own work, as well as working for Exberliner magazine, the contemporary artist Tomás Saraceno, among others.
She is currently developing a photo book, together with the writer Lucía Cash.

aramolara, Araí Moleri es una fotógrafa y retocadora uruguaya afincada en Berlín. En sus proyectos personales de los últimos 14 años, ha trabajado en retratos, documentales y arquitectura.
Los temas de sus proyectos fotográficos en los últimos 5 años se han centrado en la documentación de mujeres migrantes, y sus prácticas relacionadas con el arte y la espiritualidad, así como la arquitectura como contexto material y físico, que refleja una realidad de un tiempo y un lugar que se transforma acompañando los acontecimientos sociales.
Desde 2015, Araí colaboró con el colectivo de arte callejero „Colectivo Licuado“, realizando las fotografías previas para muchos de sus murales en todo el mundo (www.colectivolicuado.com). En 2017 trabajó para el proyecto y documental „As Mil Mulheres“ en Río de Janeiro, fotografiando a mujeres en situación de vulnerabilidad. Las fotografías sirvieron de referencia para los murales que posteriormente la artista mural „Fitz“ pintó en Río.
En 2018 Araí se trasladó a Berlín, donde ha continuado trabajando como fotógrafa y retocadora, produciendo su propio trabajo, así como trabajando para la revista Exberliner, el artista contemporáneo Tomás Saraceno, entre otros. Actualmente está desarrollando un fotolibro, junto con la escritora Lucía Cash.
